In the early 1850's before the Gold Rush of Bendigo, the township of Marong was bustling with mining activity. Gold prospectors would wander beyond the tributary of Bullock Creek, seeking fortune from creek beds and surrounds of Fletcher Creek. As the gold fever faded, the surrounding land of Fletcher Creek proved to be more successful in agricultural processes than it ever did to gold prospecting.

Today, the consecutive generation of family carry the inherited knowledge of the land. As traditional owners of the farm, we holistically cooperate with nature to sustain a future of quality livestock and organic practices. We are able to curate economic sustainability of our farming practices whilst respecting the land and environment.

Fletcher Creek Rural is locally owned and operated, we focus on community, food security and premium ethically produced products for today and tomorrow.
